MEMX is releasing a new version of the trading platform on the evening of Thursday, January 14, 2021 Tuesday, January 19, 2021, for an effective date of Friday January 15, 2021 Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
This release contains the following changes:
- MEMX will now accept limit orders regardless of the presence of an away market. Currently the MEMX Exchange cancels limit orders at entry when there is no prevailing away market NBBO.
- Updates and enhancements to increase exchange performance.
- Matching complex updates to more efficiently handle reserve orders and order re-pricing.
This release is currently running in the MDE environment and is available throughout the week for testing.
